Imagine you are at the edge of the sea on a day when it is difficult to say where the land ends and the sea begins and where the sea ends and the sky begins. Sea kayaking lets you explore these and your own boundaries and broadens your horizons. Sea kayaking is the new mountaineering.

Return to Arran
We are on Glen Sannox beach after a force 5 wind against tide crossing from Bute and Portencross. Just heating up the bhoona!
Hello Fiona, coming down from Sannox, we crossed the mouth of Brodick Bay well out from the shore (about 2km from Brodick)to catch the best of the wind and waves. We worked our way back up the south shore of Brodick bay to the ferry terminal.
I was on Arran on Saturday too, sadly without a kayak though. It was a gorgeous day - I was walking and it was warm enough just to wear a t-shirt.
ReplyDeletePity I didn't manage to spot you paddling!
