Imagine you are at the edge of the sea on a day when it is difficult to say where the land ends and the sea begins and where the sea ends and the sky begins. Sea kayaking lets you explore these and your own boundaries and broadens your horizons. Sea kayaking is the new mountaineering.
Greetings Solent! No it's not HDR, I did what I do for a lot of camp fire shots, I took it while there was still some natural light and underexposed by a stop. It was taken at 1/40th f4.5, iso 3200, handheld.
Hi Phil, thanks for not spoiling my secret! "RIGHT YOU LOT... BY THE LEFT..!"
Douglas, Superb photos as ever. If the one with the kayaks on a calm sea with mist-reathed mountains doesn't end up being a book cover, I'll eat my Mountain Cap!
Lovely pics as usual - the photo of the Cal Mac ferry looks stunning - is that an HDR image or just natural lighting?
ReplyDeleteThe one with the four kayakers paddling in sync. towards Arran's snow-clad peaks is an absolute cracker !
