Imagine you are at the edge of the sea on a day when it is difficult to say where the land ends and the sea begins and where the sea ends and the sky begins. Sea kayaking lets you explore these and your own boundaries and broadens your horizons. Sea kayaking is the new mountaineering.

We found what we were looking for...
Sea kayaking is a voyage of exploration...
...and of self discovery.
Well when we enterered the Sound of Gunna, we knew we had arrived.
We knew we did not have to prove anything to ourself or to others.
We had arrived where we wanted to be.
We were on a scrap of land, at the edge of a great Northern ocean, isolated by rushing tides of crystal clear water.
We knew we did not have to paddle any further.

Wow. That's really beautiful. Lucky you. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos of a very spacial place. I'm reminded of some beaches on the south coast of Newfoundland near Burgeo where the scenery is similar.
ReplyDeleteI agree with all the above, but it also takes a good photographic eye to capture the beauty. Living in Newfoundland, I'll have to visit Burgeo sometime Michael.
ReplyDeleteTony :-)
Thank you all, we were blessed by being able to visit a very special place.
