Imagine you are at the edge of the sea on a day when it is difficult to say where the land ends and the sea begins and where the sea ends and the sky begins. Sea kayaking lets you explore these and your own boundaries and broadens your horizons. Sea kayaking is the new mountaineering.
Merry Christmas to you as well!
ReplyDeleteIt was a Laphroaig Christmas Hamper and some assorted chocolate from Germany for me ;-)
The same to you too Douglas. I think our blogs show that we've been getting presents all year round. I've certainly enjoyed your escapades. Happy and safe paddling in 2012.

Merry Christmas and Thanks for your wonderful blog and the links to other great blogs.
ReplyDeleteI live about three hours drive from the North Carolina coast and am amazed by all the beautiful paddling and challenging waters you have there.
